Explore, Escape, Discover


 

This week we are celebrating Libraries and librarians. We have  lots of actitivies happening to help us celebrate. The theme is escape, explore and discover, so we have a treasure hunt, word finds, a special library story which must you come and hlisten to, a wall of favourite book titles chosen by you and we have been showing every lunchtime Nim’s Island. Mrs Bertram has put up an island themed display so check it out

Characteristics of BC students


  

 

There are seven characteristics of students at Bethelehem College. Do you remember what they are? There are sevn dwarfs displayed in the library. Have you ever thought about any connections between the dwarfs and what sort of people we should be? Should we have our own names for the dwarfs?  Keep a watch on the new book display for the latest Robert Muchamore Book. It is a brand new series called “The Henderson’s Boys.” 

 

Summer, 1940. Hitler’s army is advancing towards Paris, and millions of French civilians are on the run. Amidst the chaos, two British children are being hunted by German agents. British spy Charles Henderson tries to reach them first, but he can only do it with the help of a twelve-year-old French orphan. The British secret service is about to discover that kids working undercover will help to win the war. For official purposes, these children do not exist.
